Description


Duties:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Connections and disconnections of electrical power.
  • Recommend efficient and effective procedures in connecting and disconnecting power.
  • Provide scheduling of work scope advice and planning future installations of power requirements for Naval systems and additional support equipment.
Location: Chantilly, VA

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Five years of demonstrated experience in the trade of an electrician. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation and maintenance of industrial type of electrical distribution systems.
Security Clearance Requirement: 
  • This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.
  • The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. 
  • You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
Highly desired, but not required:
  • Five years of demonstrated experience in the trade of master electrician and licensed to perform electrician functions in any U.S. state.
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation and maintenance of industrial type of electrical distribution systems..
  • Knowledge and experience of 400 hertz systems and facility modifications and the effects with power distribution.
